May 25, 2007. The Escrow Associates of San Gabriel Valley, a regional association of the California Escrow Association (CEA), marked its 50-year anniversary with a historic event including a keynote address from 1958 president, Joyce Cujak; as well as comments from the organization’s current president, Randy Caruso.
More than 100 local escrow professionals and affiliates gathered for the milestone commemoration on May 17 at the 700 Huntington Hotel in Monrovia.
With a lifetime of experience and the wisdom of a seasoned professional, Cujak shared industry insights, complemented by current president, Randy Caruso’s modern perspective.
“For more than 50 years, the Escrow Associates of San Gabriel Valley have endeavored to meet the California Escrow Association’s objectives of maintaining the highest standards in escrow,” said Caruso. “It is a pleasure to have Joyce Cujak share with us her first-hand perspective and discuss how the industry has changed and evolved over the course of the last five decades.”
The event, which celebrated the organization’s ongoing commitment to industry excellence, provided attendees 1 ½ professional designation credits – CEA’s esteemed hallmark of continuing education.
The evening also included dinner and an address from Homa Alviri, senior product manager and vice president of Union Bank of California, who discussed “Remote Deposit Services: What it Means to Escrow Practitioners.”
